A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ARTS IN MOTION (A.I.M.) PRODUCTIONS, INC., FOR ITS NUMEROUS CIVIC AND PROMOTIONAL PERFORMANCES THROUGHOUT THE STATE WHICH DEVELOP THE TALENTS AND ABILITIES OF YOUNG PEOPLE.

WHEREAS, Mississippi Arts In Motion (A.I.M.) Productions, Inc., is a non-profit organization headquartered in Brandon, Mississippi, that discovers, develops and promotes young people's talents and abilities; and

WHEREAS, Mississippi A.I.M. groups do numerous civic and promotional performances throughout the state, and have been spotlighted at the Mississippi State Fair, An Ole Fashioned Christmas, at the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum, the Dixie National Rodeo and will be special guest performers this June at the annual Mississippi Picnic in Central Park in New York City; and

WHEREAS, this organization has discovered the strong need for the youth of this state to take their talents to a higher level, and its four groups were organized to encourage the celebration of all of their talents and to overcome obstacles, and have produced great results from the confidence it has built in these young people; and

WHEREAS, it is with great pride that we recognize this wonderful organization which develops and promotes the incredible talent of the youth of Mississippi:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend Arts In Motion (A.I.M.) Productions, Inc., for its numerous civic and promotional performances throughout the state which develop the talents and abilities of young people in our state, and wish them continued success in this program.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to A.I.M. Productions, Inc., Director Janet Herndon and be made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
